I grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona and moved to Los Angeles, California to attend Loyola Marymount University. After graduating in 2019, amongst the COVID-19 Pandemic, it wasn't easy. I was laid off of my first job as a Marketing Assistant and felt lost. I was a recent graduate with little experience scared for my future.

 

I spent the next year turning back to my love for art and began learning how to use photoshop and adobe illustrator. This opened up a world of digital art that was new to me since my background was in studio arts. I began freelancing as a digital artist using Adobe Illustrator and Procreate on my Ipad.

As much as I loved my art, it didn't pay the bills so I became a Salon Manager at a grooming salon for dogs since I had a lot of customer service experience from the restaurant industry. I spent a year in this role and it taught me how important it is to be organized, detail-oriented, and how to multi-task effectively and manage a group of people.

In June 2022 I began my Client Relations Specialist job at Hammitt where I was excited to rejoin the fashion industry. In this role I learned how to use Shopify, Netsuite, Gorgias, Loop, and Yotpo to help serve customers. I furthered my knowledge in the customer service space and began to want more which led me to become the Ecommerce Coordinator at Hammitt. I love being able to use my creative mindset to merchandise the site and create experiences that the customers will love. I'm excited to continue my journey in the fashion industry by furthering my career in Ecommerce.
